Rouyn-Noranda, January 16, 2024 Forage RJLL and Forage Nordik are proud to announce that they have signed a letter of intent for a merger . This strategic move reflects the company’s vision, positioning it as a leader in the drilling industry, both in the Abitibi Temiscamingue region, in northern Quebec and Ontario.

The main purpose of this merger is to build on the strengths and talents of Forage RJLL and Forage Nordik to offer first rate working conditions to all our employees, who are among the best in the industry. We would like to emphasize that , as a result of this all employees of both companies will maintain their jobs and a few new positions will be also created.

Consequently, the combined company will have 45 surface drilling rigs, capable of carrying out a wide range of projects, including deep holes, definition drilling programs, drilling programs with multiple rigs, as well as helicopter borne drilling. In addition, we will now have two workshops, one in Rouyn Noranda and the second in Val d’Or, reinforcing our ability to efficiently serve our worksites and customers.

Mr. David Bradley will remain President and Mr. Nico Brière will hold the position of Vice President, Business Development. His vast experience and ongoing commitment will be a great asset to our merged company.

The anticipated date for this transaction is February 1, 2024. To ensure a harmonious transition, both companies will continue to operate under their respective names for an undetermined period.

In the coming weeks, we plan to meet with all employees of both entities, as well as our customers, to discuss this transaction and address any questions or concerns.
